Gradiera camera app and viewer page
Terms of use
These terms cover the Gradiera camera app, the viewer page and this website. By using any of them you agree to these terms. What we do with data is in the data and privacy note.
Who runs Gradiera
Gradiera is run by its two founders, Vitalii Kikot and Dmytro Hryb. Write to support@gradiera.com about anything on this page.
What Gradiera is
Gradiera streams school games and events live from several cameras, privately. An organizer creates a broadcast and invites a crew by name; the crew film on phones or iPads with the Gradiera app; viewers watch on a private link in a browser. Viewers have no account and cannot post, comment or chat. Broadcasts are never listed or searchable.
Who may use it
- Crew. Only people an organizer invited by name may film. An invite is personal; do not pass it on.
- Organizers run broadcasts for their school or organization. They are responsible for having permission to film the people in the picture, especially students and other minors, under their school's rules, including any consent those rules require and the school's list of students who must not be filmed.
- Viewers are the people the organizer or crew shared the viewer link with. Share the link only with the audience it was meant for.
Acceptable use
Do not use Gradiera to film, stream or share:
- sexual, violent or hateful content, or content that harasses, bullies or humiliates anyone;
- anyone the school's rules say must not be filmed, or anyone in a place where they expect privacy, such as a changing room;
- anything illegal, or anything that breaks someone else's rights.
Do not try to reach broadcasts or cameras you were not invited to, and do not interfere with the service.
Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. We remove such content and remove the people who post it. Organizers can act at once themselves: remove a camera, end a broadcast, revoke the viewer link so the old one stops working, remove a crew member and delete any clip. Clips reach viewers only after an organizer publishes them.
Reporting
To report content or a person, email support@gradiera.com with the subject Report and the broadcast link or name, and say what you saw. Anyone can report, viewers included. We act within 24 hours by removing the content and the person who posted it. You can also tell the broadcast's organizer, who can remove a camera or end the broadcast at once.
How long video is kept
Live video is not written to disk unless the school turns recording on; then the server keeps only the last 10 to 15 minutes of each camera, overwritten as it goes. Clips are kept for 48 hours, or the time the school sets, after which they are no longer offered and the storage deletes the files within a day; an organizer can delete one at once. The data and privacy note gives the details. A recording saved on a filming phone stays on that phone until it is deleted there.
Deleting your data
A crew member can delete their crew membership and data at any time.
No warranty
Gradiera is provided as it is, without any warranty: a stream can lag, drop or stop, for example on a weak mobile connection, and we do not promise that a broadcast or clip will be available. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss from using Gradiera, including a broadcast that did not go out or footage that was lost. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
Changes
When we change these terms, we update the date at the top of this page. Using Gradiera after a change means you accept the new terms.
